Julia Stiles returns to Bourne and new look at Ghostbusters

Julia Stiles will return for the next big screen Bourne adventure.

The Jeremy Renner-led spin off The Bourne Legacy didn’t inspire much confidence and in its place we have Matt Damon (The Departed, Good Will Hunting, Interstellar, Saving Private Ryan) as Jason Bourne and director Paul Greengrass (Captain Phillips, United 93) are returning to the series for the first time since 2007. The franchise’s key recurring ensemble has been defined by the likes of Franka Potente, Brian Cox, Joan Allen, Gabriel Mann, Scott Glenn, Corey Johnson, David Strathairn and Albert Finney as well as one off gigs for Chris Cooper, Karl Urban, Paddy Considine, Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton.

Julia Stiles (10 Things I Hate About You, Silver Linings Playbook, Dexter) will reprise the essential role of CIA operative Nicky Parsons, who changes affiliations to help Bourne uncover the agency’s conspiracies. Other rumours about the sequel’s cast include Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina, A Royal Affair, The Man From UNCLE, The Danish Girl) and Viggo Mortensen (A History of Violence, The Two Faces of January, Eastern Promises, The Lord of the Rings).
