Ethan and co are taking on Syndicate, a villainous organisation dedicated to bringing down the IMF. Rumour has it that this is only the pre-cursor to tomorrow’s main trailer.
Oscar winner Christopher McQuarrie, writer of the sci-fi smash hit Edge of Tomorrow and The Usual Suspects, helms the adventure – succeeding the likes of Brian De Palma (Scarface), John Woo (Face/Off), JJ Abrams (The Force Awakens) and Brad Bird (The Incredibles). The cast includes Tom Cruise (Minority Report, A Few Good Men, The Last Samurai, Jerry Maguire, Collateral), Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Avengers, American Hustle), Alec Baldwin (Beetlejuice, The Hunt For Red October, The Departed), Rebecca Furguson (The White Queen), Ving Rhames (Don King: Only in America), Sean Harris (Prometheus), Simon McBurney (The Theory of Everything) and Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Star Trek Into Darkness).
